Adrian Patten is an FX expert and entrepreneur, having founded institutional FX brokerage Mako FX and served as CEO until its sale in 2014. Adrian has been Chief Spot Dealer at First National Bank in Chicago and was a senior FX dealer at Deutsche Bank, UBS, Hill Samuel and Morgan Grenfell.

Andy Coyne
Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer

Andy has been at the forefront of FX innovation for over two decades. He has envisaged and created the now adopted industry standard of pre and post-trade technology for FX PB. Andy has been CEO of Traiana as well as holding head positions in the FX PB departments at both Citi and Deutsche Bank.

Dan Evans
Head of Product

Since graduating from Southampton University with a BSc in Mathematics, Dan progressed from the graduate training scheme to the position of Director of FX at both UBS AG and Director of his own consultancy. Dan has analysed FX data from, and provided solutions for, asset managers, hedge funds, banks, corporates, law firms and private individuals.

Steve is responsible for the implementation and support of Cobalt’s post-trade network. Before joining Cobalt, Steve was Trading Support Team Lead at Fixnetix as well as holding a FIX Connectivity Engineering role at Deutsche Bank AG and Fidessa.

Bob Linton
Head of Connectivity & Onboarding

Bob previously worked at Traiana for over 10 years, he oversaw the implementation of pre-trade risk and post-trade processing solutions. Bob has an extensive track record of delivering the highest calibre of support for FX trading applications, virtual data exchange systems and credit verification processes.

Nitin Talwar

Nitin Talwar has extensive experience in creating effective production support teams across regions, structures and procedures. Nitin has over 13 years’ experience in the FX industry having previously worked for the likes of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, RBS / Natwest Markets and Credit Suisse.

John Fitzgerald
Information Security Manager

John Fitzgerald is an experienced Information Security Leader (CISSP, CISM) with more than 15 years in Information Risk and Security Management in the Financial Services, Fintech and Oil & Gas industries. Prior to joining Cobalt, John was the lead for Information Security at Rathbone Brothers Plc.

Giles Metcalfe
Head of Business Management

Giles Metcalfe is experienced in both asset management and entrepreneurialism. Giles previously worked in Investment Sales at Legal & General Investment Management, where previously he was an Investment Communications Executive. Early on in his career Giles was the Co-Founder and Director of a successful and profitable leisure company. Giles graduated from Leeds University with a BA (Hons) in European Politics and holds CFA UK Level 4 Investment Management Certificate.

Henry Ritchotte

Henry Ritchotte is the founder of RitMir Ventures, a principal investment firm focused on investing in products and services transforming finance through disruptive regulatory and technology driven business models.

Henry spent over two decades at Deutsche Bank holding a number of roles including Chief Operating Officer and member of the Management Board and Group Executive Committee. As COO, he was responsible over various periods for Group Strategy, Technology, Operations, Corporate Services, Corporate Security, Business Continuity, Information Security and the Bank’s global digital transformation agenda.

Henry holds a degree in History from Haverford College, Pennsylvania, magna cum laude. He has a Masters degree in East Asian Studies and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Stephen Wolff
Strategic Advisor

Stephen specialises in advising early stage, venture-backed financial technology companies. He has served on the board of financial market technology and infrastructure companies including R3, Tradeweb and ClearCourse Partnership.

Stephen ran corporate strategy and M&A at IHS Markit from the period prior to Markit’s IPO, through to the successful merger between IHS and Markit Group which created a ~$17bn data and information company. Stephen was previously Managing Director and Head of Strategic Investments at Deutsche Bank.
